Stephanie Koontz has served as Walsh University’s Director of Alumni Relations since returning to the University in 2018.
As Director of Alumni Relations, Stephanie serves and engages with the University’s growing network of 17,000+ alumni. Through the planning and oversight of strategic events, networking opportunities and engagement programs, she provides meaningful ways for the University’s alumni to stay connected over a lifetime.
Prior to joining Walsh, Stephanie spent more than 10 years working in the non-profit sector in development, volunteer management, event planning and community outreach. Her passion for service is exemplified in her volunteer work in the community and through her professional affiliations. She serves on the board of directors for Main Street Wadsworth and the Independent College Advancement Associates and is an active member of the Leadership Stark County Diversity Committee and the Association of Fundraising Professionals IDEA Committee. Stephanie is a graduate of the 31st Class of Leadership Stark County, was honored in 2019 as an Advancing Diversity Scholar for CASE: District V and was recognized as a 30 for the Future recipient by the Greater Akron Chamber in 2022.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communications from Walsh University in 2008.
