Grade 4-5 Endorsement

The 4/5 Endorsement is designed for teachers who hold a Pre-K–3 Ohio license and want to expand their career options in the field of elementary education. Walsh offers this teacher endorsement in an online format throughout the academic school year and in a classroom format in the summer semester. You can choose the method that is the most convenient for your busy, hectic lifestyle.

• Cost: $350* per credit hour
• 9 Credit Hours: Three courses, 3 credit hours each (Grade 4-5 Endorsement course details)
• All courses offered online
• Candidates must hold a valid Pre-K–3 Ohio license
• The 4/5 Endorsement can be added to a PK-3 license after successfully completing the required coursework and passing the two required Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) sub-tests (OAE 018 and OAE 019).

*Please note that federal financial aid is not offered for this program.
