Criminal Justice Degree

Walsh University's Criminal Justice program examines crime and criminal behavior, police and court processes, deviance and cultural norm violations and contemporary corrections issues. Criminal Justice is a sociological science that attempts to identify and interpret patterns of criminal behavior and analyze society's ability to control crime. It focuses on cause, prevention, as well as the legal process and the rehabilitation of criminals.

Why Walsh?

Strong Base in Sociology. Students benefit from a liberal arts core curriculum, interactive learning environment.

Small Class Sizes. Instead of taking courses in large lecture halls with hundreds of others, Walsh students receive substantial student-professor contact.

Emphasis on Service Learning. Students partner with numerous organizations throughout the region where they work side by side with those in needs to help solve problems or tackle important issues affecting our society.
