Following a national search, Walsh University is delighted to announce the appointment of Jennifer Loudiana as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Loudiana, a higher education professional with more than 20 years of experience in information technology leadership and strategy, will oversee the University’s Information Technology systems and guide the development of innovative, secure, and student-centered digital applications in support of Walsh’s mission.
Loudiana has served as Interim Chief Information Officer since May 2025, where she has successfully led the IT team through significant modernization projects, cybersecurity advancements, and operational streamlining. Her initiatives have included infrastructure renewal, Banner and MyWalsh system upgrades, comprehensive technology assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
“Jennifer brings exceptional experience and a deep understanding of technology’s role in supporting our academic and operational excellence,” said Laurel Lusk, Walsh University’s Chief Financial Officer and Loudiana’s direct report. “Her thoughtful leadership and collaborative approach have already made a lasting impact on Walsh University, and we are confident she will continue to advance our digital strategy with innovation and integrity.”
Since joining Walsh University’s IT department in 2014, Loudiana has progressed through several key leadership positions, including Director of User Support and Classroom Technology and Instructional Specialist for eLearning and Information Technology. She also serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the DeVille School of Business, where she teaches technology-based courses.
Before coming to Walsh, Loudiana held technology leadership roles at Case Western Reserve University and the University of Utah, gaining extensive experience in project management, training, web coordination, and enterprise systems integration.
A doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Higher Education Administration at Franklin University, Loudiana also holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel and a Bachelor of General Studies from Kent State University. She is a Certified Peer Reviewer for Quality Matters, holds a LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt, and has earned a Women in Leadership Certificate from Case Western Reserve University.
