Walsh University welcomed new and returning Cavaliers to campus for Welcome Weekend, held August 21–23, 2026 including nearly 400 from the newest Class of 2030. The weekend offered students a meaningful start to the academic year through move-in support, orientation, community-building activities, faith opportunities and campus connections before Fall Term I classes began August 24.
Walsh University’s Welcome Weekend brought the Cavalier community together for three days of connection, service and celebration. New students and their families were welcomed to campus as students settled into residence halls, explored campus resources and began building relationships with classmates, faculty and staff. Throughout the weekend, Cavaliers took part in activities designed to introduce them to the opportunities, traditions and support systems that make Walsh a close-knit community. As the University begins its “Year of Excellence”, Welcome Weekend set the tone for a year rooted in faith, service, belonging and Cavalier pride.
