All eligible parent PLUS Loan borrowers must complete a PLUS Master Promissory Note (MPN) to complete the PLUS Loan process. Parent borrowers taking out PLUS loans for more than one child will need to sign separate Direct PLUS Loan MPNs for each child.
Master Promissory Note Instructions
- Parent Borrowers – Complete Loan Agreement for a PLUS loan (MPN)
- Parents need to use their own FSA ID (the parent FSA ID, not the student’s) – a common mistake encountered is that parents try to sign the undergraduate MPN or are logged in under the student’s FSA ID.
- Our office will receive electronic confirmation of MPNs signed within 24-48 hours.
