TRAVEL GUIDELINES

Walsh University is continuing to monitor travel guidance provided by federal, state and local health authorities.  For travel guidance provided by the CDC, Click Here.   

  • University-Sponsored International Travel: International travel is paused through June 30, 2022 with the exception of travel programs approved by Walsh University. 
  • University-Sponsored Domestic Travel: Domestic-travel must be approved by the supervising Vice-President.
  • Personal Travel:  Any Walsh University employee or student conducting personal travel is reminded to follow federal and state guidance, continue to protect yourself and each other with our Seven to Remember, self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, and seek medical attention, if needed, including COVID-19 testing, as recommended by your health care provider. 

International Student Arrival 

Walsh will be following CDC guidelines and directing students who are returning to the United States from abroad to complete the following:   

  1. All air passengers coming to the US, including US Citizens and fully vaccinated people, are required to have a negative COVID-19 result no more than 3 days before travel or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 3 months before they board a flight to the United States.
  2. During travel, take extra precautions and Know How to Protect Yourself and Others.
  3. Upon arrival, unvaccinated students will be required to get tested* within 3-5 days, remain quarantined until you receive a negative test result and have be cleared by the university to engage in academic and extracurricular activities. 

*Important Note:  Walsh University will provide returning international students with a rapid COVID-19 test at no-cost. through our Health Services (AultmanNOW).  Once you confirm your arrival date with the Director of International Student Services, she will work with you to schedule your rapid test appointment.
