In preparation for the phased-in return of employees to campus that began July 1, and to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Walsh University has introduced new protective measures, cleaning protocols and instruction guidelines for fall 2020 and until further notice. These safeguards include physical distancing, proper hand washing, facial covering recommendations, cleaning processes and reduced occupancy in designated spaces, among others.

Under the direction of Task Force Lazarus and with input from the Aultcare Assessment team of medical professionals, Walsh has created the Return to Campus Protocols Guidebook, a 50+ page comprehensive document designed to provide the Walsh community with important information and guidelines on safely returning to campus.

This Guidebook focuses on issues that include residential living, dining services, classroom instruction, campus events and highlights every facet of Walsh operations adapted post COVID-19. Protocols have been evaluated and implemented with the goal to ensure student success while maintaining the safety and well-being of every member of the Walsh community. Guidelines may be updated or revised based on state and federal health recommendations and community input.
