For students of parents who are employed with a participating college or university, Walsh University participates in two different Tuition Exchange Programs:

Tuition Exchange and CIC applications are due by January 15th for the upcoming fall term. Tuition Exchange and CIC decisions will be made by February 1st. The number of available positions offered vary from year to year.

In order to be considered for Tuition Exchange or CIC, the following must be completed:

  • Parent must submit all necessary documentation to their HR Office at the college/university they are employed through
  • Student must be accepted to Walsh University
    • Students can apply through our free online application HERE 
    • Students can also apply through the Common Application HERE 

*Please note: For students graduating high school in 2024, the Walsh Application and Common Application will not be available until July 2023.

  • Student must submit a one-page, double spaced, essay on the following topic:
    • “Why I would like to attend Walsh University”
    • This essay can be emailed to our tuition exchange email: tuitionexchange@walsh.edu
  • Student/Parent must complete and submit the FAFSA to Walsh University
    • Walsh University Federal School Code: 003135

Students who are offered Tuition Exchange/CIC will be notified by the Office of Admissions after February 1st. Students who are placed on the waitlist will also be notified by February 1st.

*Please note: Students who are offered Tuition Exchange/CIC must reside on campus.
