The course moves beyond the basics of creating a design and focuses on how to build polished, consistent visual content, work effectively with a brand, and use Canva’s advanced capabilities to turn ideas into finished assets. Participants develop practical skills they can apply across a wide range of workplace projects.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Create professional visual content from concept to final asset, using Canva for a range of workplace communication needs.
  • Apply fundamental design principles including visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, alignment, and composition.
  • Translate brand guidelines into visual content by consistently applying approved fonts, colors, logos, imagery, and other brand elements.
  • Build reusable templates and design systems that make recurring content faster and more consistent to produce.
  • Transform and adapt content across formats, creating variations for presentations, digital communications, social media, marketing materials, and other channels.
  • Use advanced Canva tools and features to edit, organize, customize, and manage visual content efficiently.
  • Repurpose existing assets to create new materials while maintaining visual and brand consistency.

This course is available in three levels, allowing organizations to select the depth of training that best fits their workforce needs. Each level builds on the same core skill area, with the depth of instruction and course length increasing by level. Level 3 provides the most comprehensive and in-depth exploration of the subject.
