Sociology involves the study of how people live — as individuals, in groups, and as societies. With a Sociology concentration, students will explore the development, structure and functioning of human society and examine the patterns of social relationships, interaction and the culture of everyday life. By studying how people interact, sociologists can provide helpful insight into areas such as market research, policy change, education and more.
