Benefits & Responsibilities of Affiliating with the Institute:

  • Be involved with an inter-disciplinary group of faculty members from a variety of schools/programs on
    campus that have an interest in positively contributing to promoting health and wellness in the university
    and community.
  • Develop seminars, research projects, or programming that could contribute to the scientific community
    regarding promotion of health and wellness, promote student learning at both the undergraduate and graduate level, provide service to the university and community, and connect the university to community partners.
  • Provide access to unique inter-disciplinary learning opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Actively engage in a variety of activities including those focusing on the scholarship of teaching and learning, service, and research.
  • Participate in a variety of inter-professional activities.
  • Potentially gain access to external funding to support programming for students, faculty, staff, and
    community members.
