Psychology or Exercise Science Pre-Occupational Therapy Program

The direct freshman entry program is a 3 + 2 model, available to a limited number of graduating high school seniors who will enroll in Walsh University’s Psychology Pre-Occupational Therapy or Exercise Science Pre-Occupational Therapy major.

Prior to Attending Walsh University, students must:

  • Be accepted to Walsh University – Apply to Walsh!
  • Have a high school GPA of 3.75 or higher
  • Complete a standardized interview with OT program faculty

Once at Walsh University:

  • Must be enrolled in either the Psychology Pre-Occupational Therapy or the Exercise Science Pre-Occupational Therapy major
  • Complete pre-requisites for the program with a 3.75 GPA or higher
  • Must maintain an overall GPA of 3.75 or higher during their undergraduate curriculum
  • Must meet the requirements of the MOT admissions (with the exception OTCAS application) as follows:
    • 3 letters of recommendation from an employer, supervisor, instructor, or coach
    • Documentation of 20 hours of clinical observation in at least 2 different locations
    • Successful completion of an interview with two MOT faculty members prior to matriculation into the graduate program.
