The Peace Corps Preparatory Program at Walsh University

Walsh University was selected as a Peace Corps Preparatory institution in 2015. The Peace Corps Prep program will prepare students for international development fieldwork and potential Peace Corps service. To accomplish this, students build four core competencies through interrelated coursework, hands-on experience, and professional development support.

Fulbright U.S. Grant Program for Walsh University Students

Walsh University students and alumni are encouraged to apply for a Fulbright U.S. Student Grant. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides graduating seniors, master's students, doctoral candidates, and recent graduates with the opportunity to conduct research or serve as an English Teaching Assistant overseas in order to build relationships between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards over 1,900 grants annually and currently operates in more than 140 countries worldwide.

The Fulbright program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, is administered nationally by the Institute of International Education and at Walsh University by Study Beyond in the Office of Culture and Belonging.
